Newsletters are typically a few pages long, while magazines are usually longer.

·       Audience

Newsletters are intended for a limited audience, while magazines are written for a  wider audience.

·       Visuals

Newsletters are mostly text, with very few photos, while magazines usually have a photographic cover and include graphics and illustrations.

·       Binding

Newsletters are typically no longer than 12-24 pages and have different binding techniques, while magazines use saddle stitching or perfect binding, depending on the number of pages.

·       Distribution

Newsletters are best distributed as subscriptions, while magazines are heavily supported by advertisements.
