Frequency of Meeting :
The cell shall meet at least two times a year and as the case may be. The member secretary in consultation with the chairman prepares and circulates the agenda of the meeting well in advance. The member secretary maintains the minutes of the meeting and action taken report.
Activities:
- Encouraging the staff and students in design competition and idea generation process.
- Start-ups are mentored through the advices given by technical/business experts and respective faculties of the institution.
- Counseling is adopted for converting the startups into successful business process.
- Establishing a channel for technical support in design, simulations, development and testing.
- Financial support in the form of seed money for innovation, refinement and commercialization.
- Providing legal advices with regard to IPR issues.
- Fabrication assistance for prototypes through established labs.
- Networking with R & D laboratories.
Create an eco-system for establishing entrepreneur skills among the students.
