The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering aims at producing qualified and dynamic engineers in the fast changing areas of Electronics and Communication Engineering. This undergraduate course has gained paramount importance and has proved to be indispensable to industrial establishments.

The Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) Department was established in the year 2009 with a sanctioned intake of 60 students in B.Tech. Program. In view of the increasing demand in this field, the intake was enhanced to 240 in the A.Y.2024-25. The department also offers one Post graduate (PG) program M. Tech. (VLSI) which was started in the A.Y. 2012-13, with an intake of 18.

At Srinivasa Institute of Engineering and Technology campus, a strong and energetic teaching force with a strong backing in the form of well-furnished laboratories make this branch even more lustrous. The faculty is well qualified, dynamic and experienced. The department is consistently achieving good academic results. The faculty members have earned many research papers in peer reviewed reputed national and international journals and conferences to their credit. The department is having strong backup of qualified supporting staff to support the laboratory work. Faculty members are also reviewers for many international journals. The department has a good academic culture and conducive working environment for teaching, learning, research and development The placement on the campus of the department is progressively increasing in autonomy.
