INDUSTRIAL VISIT 1:

Srinivasa institute of engineering and technology had organized an industrial visit on 20 July, 2023 to All India Radio installations i.e. Studios & FM Transmitter at Siripuram and 100 kW MW Transmitter at Aganampudi, Visakhapatnam for III Year students of Electronics & communication Engineering along with four faculties Mr. R. Hari Prasad, Mr. R. Bheema Sankaram, Mrs. V. S. Sudha, Mrs. R. Durga and P. Raviteja who coordinated them.

The visit was organized by HOD of ECE branch Dr. S Saravana Kumar & IQAC Head Dr B. Ratna Raju.

COMPANY PROFILE

As India’s National Broadcaster and also the premier Public Service Broadcaster, All India Radio (AIR) has been serving to inform, educate and entertain the masses since it’s inception, truly living up to its motto – ‘Bahujan Hitaya : Bahujan Sukhaya’. One of the largest broadcasting organizations in the world in terms of the number of languages of broadcast, the spectrum of socio-economic and cultural diversity it serves, AIR’s home service comprises 479 stations.

GROUP OBSERVATION

Interaction with Employees: Throughout the visit, students had the opportunity to interact with various employees, from entry-level staff to senior management. These interactions allowed students to gain firsthand knowledge about the challenges and rewards of working in the Prasara Bharati. Employees were forthcoming in sharing their experiences and insights, providing valuable career guidance to the students.

The industrial visit to Prasara Bharati was a resounding success and achieved its objectives of providing students with real-world exposure to the Communication. It not only enriched their knowledge but also inspired them to explore potential career paths within the communication sector. The experience garnered during the visit will undoubtedly prove beneficial in their academic and professional journeys.

LTD., DRM Road, Dno: 40-1-20, Ramachandrapuram, for II Year students of Electronics & Communication Engineering along with four faculties Mrs. BH Jagadeeswari, Mrs. V. S. Sudha, Mr. Pavan Kumar and P. Ravi Teja who coordinated them.

INTRODUCTION
M/S AR RAJU BEVERAGES PVT. LTD, operating under the brand “Artos Drinks,” is a renowned beverage manufacturing company specializing in a wide range of beverages, including carbonated soft drinks, fruit juices, and bottled water. The visit was organized to gain first-hand knowledge of the production processes, quality control measures, and the overall functioning of the beverage industry.

Objectives of the Visit:

·       To gain an understanding of the beverage production process.

·       To observe quality control practices in the industry.

·       To learn about the management and organization of a beverage manufacturing unit.

·       To explore potential career opportunities within the industry.

Key Highlights:

·       Explored the entire beverage production process, from raw materials to packaging.

·       Witnessed stringent quality control procedures, including laboratory tests on materials and products.

·       Observed automated packaging lines and supply chain management strategies.

·       Interacted with industry professionals to understand career opportunities.

Recommendations:

  • Suggested organizing more industrial visits for practical exposure.       
  • Proposed exploring partnerships with industry players for internships and career opportunities.

CONCLUSION:

   The industrial visit to M/S AR RAJU BEVERAGES PVT. LTD (Artos Drinks) was an enlightening experience that deepened our understanding of beverage production, quality control, and the operational intricacies of a successful manufacturing unit. The knowledge acquired during this visit holds immense value for the students and their future endeavors in the field of beverages and manufacturing.
